It's a girl! A wonderful, sweet bundle of pink fuzzy happiness. Well, at least I hope she will be.
So far, everything is going wonderfully with this pregnancy. The only issues I've had are some severe headaches. The ones that wake you up at night because the throbbing and pounding just won't stop, for the love of GOD. And some blood pressure issues. Nothing major yet, just that it's a bit high. My doc isn't concerned at all, so neither am I. Yeah, right.
Andy is getting super excited these days. And more so as the time progresses. He finally got to feel her moving for the first time this past Saturday night. We're not quite up to full fledged kicks and elbowing, but there is very distinct movement that is becoming more and more obvious.
My mother-in-law has been buying pink clothes and shoes for the last, ohh, 2 1/2 years or so. That was the last time my sister-in-law was pg and they were hoping with all their might that it was a girl. No such luck. She delivered a very healthy boy #3 and all the cotton candy colored stuff went to the attic in the hopes of a time when Andy and I would procreate. Guess she got her wish. I'm happy for her, though.
Speaking of Moms, I had the chance to visit with mine over the weekend. The circumstances were not good, as she was in town for a funeral, but it was ever so wonderful to see her again. She is a busy lady and it's been quite a challenge not having her around for every little thing like I used too. But, I'm proud of her. She is a very strong spirit who will let nothing get in her way of living. Damn, I wasn't intending to get all mushy and stuff.
Okay, I know there aren't a ton of you reading, but since I'm talking about baby girl, I could use some feedback. We are still in the name choosing game. Her first name is going to be Lucille, and she'll be called Lucy. That's a definite. However, we are still looking for the perfect middle name. We have decided that the fall back will be Madison, but if you can think of anything cuter, please let me know.

well, it is about damn time!!! Can't wait to meet little Lucy! No matter her middle name. I like Casey.. or Elizabeth.. put I am biased.. never had someone named after ME!.. so just kidding.
Congratulations! I know you are super excited!
I also like Elizabeth and not just because it's my middle name also, but I think it sounds very pretty with Lucille. You could also call her Madison Lucille and still call her Lucy. Both pretty names!
Lucille Katherine is a wonderful name for her. I couldn't think of a better one. OK OK, Madison is good too, I guess... :o) I gotta find that girl a pink Mustang.
The middle name is going to have to go with Lucille more than Lucy. Because most of the time when her middle name is used, you'll be saying Lucille instead of Lucy. She's get the full name "oh shit I'm in trouble" yell. :-)
I can't think of any middle names but I'll keep my eyes peeled and ears open.
Just so you know, during middle of the night feeding, I think about middle names. Please tell me you have thought of one so I'll stop.
